Privacy notice
This notice explains how Bespoke Carpentry (“we”) uses the personal information you give us, under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Last updated 27 October 2026.
What we collect
- Through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, borough, what you’d like made, your message and any photos you upload.
- When you contact us in other ways: whatever you send or tell us.
- At the design visit and during the job: your address, access and parking details, measurements and notes about the room, and the details in your quote.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange the design visit, prepare your quote, make and fit your furniture, answer questions afterwards, and keep the business records the law requires. We use it because you’ve asked us to do something for you (taking steps towards and carrying out a contract), because we have a legal obligation (for example, tax records), or because we have a legitimate interest in running the business. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business, such as our email, form and website hosting providers, and anyone the law requires us to share it with. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t go further are kept only as long as we need them to deal with the enquiry. Records of jobs we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for our business and legal obligations, then deleted.

Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. To make a request, use our contact form. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
